Mark 13:7-9 ESV
And when you hear of wars and
rumors of wars, do not be alarmed. This must take place, but the end is not
yet. For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There
will be earthquakes in various places; there will be famines. These are but the
beginning of the birth pains. “But be on your guard. For they will deliver you
over to councils, and you will be beaten in synagogues, and you will stand
before governors and kings for my sake, to bear witness before them.

Psalm 18:6-7 ESV
In my distress I called upon
the Lord; to my God I cried for help. From his temple he heard my voice, and my

Job 1:8-22 ESV /
And the Lord said to Satan,
“Have you considered my servant Job, that there is none like him on the earth,
a blameless and upright man, who fears God and turns away from evil?” Then
Satan answered the Lord and said, “Does Job fear God for no reason? Have you
not put a hedge around him and his house and all that he has, on every side?
You have blessed the work of his hands, and his possessions have increased in
the land. But stretch out your hand and touch all that he has, and he will
curse you to your face.” And the Lord said to Satan, “Behold, all that he has
is in your hand. Only against him do not stretch out your hand.” So Satan went
out from the presence of the Lord. ...

Genesis 7:17-20 ESV
The flood continued forty days
on the earth. The waters increased and bore up the ark, and it rose high above
the earth. The waters prevailed and increased greatly on the earth, and the ark
floated on the face of the waters. And the waters prevailed so mightily on the
earth that all the high mountains under the whole heaven were covered. The
waters prevailed above the mountains, covering them fifteen cubits deep.
Romans 8:19-21 ESV
For the creation waits with
eager longing for the revealing of the sons of God. For the creation was
subjected to futility, not willingly, but because of him who subjected it, in
hope that the creation itself will be set free from its bondage to corruption
and obtain the freedom of the glory of the children of God.
John 3:16-17 ESV
“For God so loved the world,
that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but
have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the
world, but in order that the world might be saved through him.
Genesis 6:6-7 ESV
And the Lord was sorry that he
had made man on the earth, and it grieved him to his heart. So the Lord said,

animals and creeping things and birds of the heavens, for I am sorry that I
have made them.”

swarms of flies on you and your servants and your people, and into your houses.
And the houses of the Egyptians shall be filled with swarms of flies, and also
the ground on which they stand.
Revelation 1:1-20 ESV
The revelation of Jesus
Christ, which God gave him to show to his servants the things that, must soon
take place. He made it known by sending his angel to his servant John, who bore
witness to the word of God and to the testimony of Jesus Christ, even to all
that he saw. Blessed is the one who reads aloud the words of this prophecy, and
blessed are those who hear, and who keep what is written in it, for the time is
near. John to the seven churches that are in Asia: Grace to you and peace from
him who is and who was and who is to come, and from the seven spirits who are
before his throne, and from Jesus Christ the faithful witness, the firstborn of
the dead, and the ruler of kings on earth. To him who loves us and has freed us
from our sins by his blood...
Philippians 4:13 ESV
I can do all things through
him who strengthens me.
John 7:7 ESV
The world cannot hate you, but
it hates me because I testify about it that its works are evil.
Isaiah 1:1-31 ESV
The vision of Isaiah the son
of Amoz, which he saw concerning Judah and Jerusalem in the days of Uzziah,
Jotham, Ahaz, and Hezekiah, kings of Judah. Hear, O heavens, and give ear, O
earth; for the Lord has spoken: “Children have I reared and brought up, but
they have rebelled against me. The ox knows its owner, and the donkey its
master's crib, but Israel does not know, my people do not understand.” Ah,
sinful nation, a people laden with iniquity, offspring of evildoers, children
who deal corruptly! They have forsaken the Lord, they have despised the Holy
One of Israel, and they are utterly estranged. Why will you still be struck
down? Why will you continue to rebel? The whole head is sick, and the whole
heart faint. ...
Psalm 1:1-20:9 ESV
Blessed is the man who walks
not in the counsel of the wicked, nor stands in the way of sinners, nor sits in
the seat of scoffers; but his delight is in the law of the Lord, and on his law
he meditates day and night. He is like a tree planted by streams of water that
yields its fruit in its season, and its leaf does not wither. In all that he
does, he prospers. The wicked are not so, but are like chaff that the wind
drives away. Therefore the wicked will not stand in the judgment, nor sinners
in the congregation of the righteous;
Genesis 7:11-13 ESV
In the six hundredth year of
Noah's life, in the second month, on the seventeenth day of the month, on that
day all the fountains of the great deep burst forth and the windows of the
heavens were opened. And rain fell upon the earth forty days and forty nights.
On the very same day Noah and his sons, Shem and Ham and Japheth, and Noah's
wife and the three wives of his sons with them entered the ark,
John 1:1-51 ESV
In the beginning was the Word,
and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with
God. All things were made through him, and without him was not any thing made
that was made. In him was life, and the life was the light of men. The light
shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it. ...
Exodus 9:22-26 ESV
Then the Lord said to Moses, “Stretch out your hand toward
heaven, so that there may be hail in all the land of Egypt, on man and beast
and every plant of the field, in the land of Egypt.” Then Moses stretched out
his staff toward heaven, and the Lord sent thunder and hail, and fire ran down
to the earth. And the Lord rained hail upon the land of Egypt. There was hail
and fire flashing continually in the midst of the hail, very heavy hail, such
as had never been in all the land of Egypt since it became a nation. The hail
struck down everything that was in the field in all the land of Egypt, both man
and beast. And the hail struck down every plant of the field and broke every
tree of the field. Only in the land of Goshen, where the people of Israel were,
was there no hail.
